The data in this index comes from the Awin platform, the UK’s largest affiliate network, looking at over 1,000 online-only and omnichannel retailers. This dataset compares year-on-year performance between Q1 2022 and Q1 2021.
Sub-category performance trends
Through the Awin affiliate index, we aim to understand specific metrics—such as traffic, average order volume, and sales growth—in order to best indicate how the market is performing. The first metric is focused on some of the retail sub-categories that Awin tracks, comparing sales, traffic and average order value (AOV) performance between Q1 2022 and Q1 2021.
