In this week’s show (Thu 16th Oct) we will share data and insights to help retailers with customer journey optimisation, including trends across site navigation and search. We will also provide our weekly eCommerce update for w/c 5th October.
IMRG’s Online Retail index data will reveal how customers are interacting with retailers at each stage of the customer journey, with particular focus on how they’re navigating websites e.g., exploring conversion at product listing pages, the view a product page, checkout, and payments.
We will also look at trends across search, with data from research we completed with Feedonomics in September 2025. You will learn consumers’ satisfaction levels with online search, their expectations for search across various platforms, perspectives on AI in search, and how their search behaviour is likely to shift in the near future.
Last week we reported the second week of total market declines for eCommerce since the uplift we saw in w/c 14th September (+3.3% YoY). We will share whether w/c 5th October saw any improvements, especially around big events such as ‘October Prime Day.’
This week we are happy to be joined by Constructor and The Pixel who will share key trends they’re noticing across product discovery, search, and digital experiences to help aid growth.
