This is a relaxed and collaborative group session, designed to encourage open discussion and shared learning among retailers. We encourage you to join from a quiet space where you can take part in the conversation, and if possible, keep your camera on to help create an engaging and interactive atmosphere.
As the peak trading season approaches, retailers are preparing their sites for Black Friday and Christmas sales. We’re bringing retailers together to discuss how to optimise checkout ahead of this crucial period. Join us on Tuesday 14th October for our virtual roundtable and gain practical tips and advice from your peers.
To start the session IMRG will provide data on how customers are engaging with retailers at the checkout stage and what they want from this part of their purchasing journey. The retailers and guest experts will share his lessons on improving the checkout, e.g., what he has found to work in reducing drop-off, building trust at the point of purchase, and ensuring systems can handle peak demand.
Before the session start to think about these key questions:
- Do you usually keep your checkout consistent, or do you adapt it for peak trading periods?
- Which checkout optimisation approaches have you seen produce the best or worst results?
- How is your online checkout currently structured (single-page, multi-page, order of elements, etc.)?
- What would be your top advice for retail peers looking to improve their checkout experience?
- What key insights have you gained from consumer behavior at checkout, particularly during Black Friday 2024?
You will also hear from Novuna, RevLifter, and The Pixel who will share their top tips and answer your questions on checkout optimisation.
