Neteven announces collaboration with 8 new French leading marketplaces

To allow UK brands and retailers to successfully launch their business in France, Neteven works to analyse every new online sales channel which could provide a source of revenue, qualified traffic and/or profitability for merchants. This year, several marketplaces were launched in France and these represent a real growth opportunity for retailers. Among them, Neteven has selected and integrated those which can match up to its high customer expectations.

As part of its expansion strategy, Neteven now enable brands and retailersto manage their full online selling process on eight new specialised e-commerce websites. Among them are Darty and Boulanger. These two leading e-commerce websites are renowned for their offline distribution of Consumer Electronic goods, Home & Garden, Toys, Kids and accessories, to name a few. Boulanger and Darty are France’s answers to Tesco. Darty is the 6th most visited website in France with 16 million unique visitors per month and has recently opened its offering to a multitude of new categories and offers third party sellers its web-to-store services. Boulanger has been partnering with its brands for the past 60 years and collaborates exclusively with them. As an omnichannel retailer, Boulanger enables customer returns via its 122 stores.

Neteven has also integrated the five most recent website of leading French marketplace Cdiscount. These websites are dedicated to DIY, Decoration, Baby care, Kids and Garden categories. Cdiscount also offers third party sellers its own customer service, logistics and technical platform.  

The trading platform also provides UK brands and retailers with full access to the new fashion marketplace Menlook. Originally dedicated to menswear, the website has recently opened its catalogue, via its marketplace, to new categories such as sport, design and high-tech.

Neteven recently accelerated its European expansion by strengthening its position in the UK and developing its international sales team and marketplaces partnerships. This strategy has been successful, with 50% of the products integrated by Neteven now coming from companies based outside of France. Neteven has also reached European expectations by providing merchants with new powerful distribution channels across Europe, USA and China.
