Ticketing and travel retailers saw gains in December retailer ranking

  • The biggest rise was – up 47 places year-on-year (YoY)
  • The biggest fall was – down 20 places YoY
  • The top 4 remained in the first 4 places, but shuffled their order. Apple moved up, whilst Tesco and Argos shifted down
  • Ticketing and travel retailers saw gains - The Trainline, Thomsom, National Rail, Easyjet, British Airways,, Ryan Air and Thomas Cook all saw jumps up the ranking
  • The department stores all saw a decline in their ranking – M&S down 2 / John Lewis down 4 / Debenhams down 3 / HOF down 15
  • Several large fashion retailers saw falls on the list, Very (down 1 place) ASOS (down 2 places) New Look (down 7 places)
