Black Friday 2017

Overview

The Black Friday week is an incredibly hectic time – with retailers competing fiercely to attract shoppers to their sites to capture some of the massive spend shoppers have been primed to make.

It’s also a very confusing time due to its sheer scale; after the dust has settled, retailers review every aspect of their data to try to understand what happened and why – and assess their performance.

But that information only gets you so far – what about everyone else, how did they perform and how did it vary across various areas of online retail?

To help you fill this void, IMRG will be hosting a Black Friday review lunch at the prestigious Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair on 6 December (12:00 – 15:00).

At this event, we will be revealing the results of the daily benchmark tracker that we run over Black Friday week – debating trends in the data, showing which sectors performed the strongest and sharing our insight around everything we learnt from the Black Friday period this year. Plus you’ll get to debate the trends with your peers.
