Sarah Garvin

Head of Fulfilment and Logistics | Amara

Sarah heads the logistics team at Amara; since joining the company in 2011 she has supported the consistent growth of the business and is responsible for all operational contracts, delivery, return solutions and fraud management. Ensuring the customers are at the forefront of any decisions made, Sarah has been able to ensure Amara provide their customers with an outstanding level of service. She has been pivotal in the development of international delivery integration which now constitutes for 55% of the company’s sales. 
Prior to this role Sarah worked within office management, operational roles in retail and the service industry..

 


 

Mike Pitt

Shipping and Logistics Director | eBay UK

Mike Pitt is the Shipping and Logistics Director for eBay in the UK, and is responsible for all aspects of buyer and seller delivery experience with eBay, as well as specific responsibility for the Click and Collect operation in partnership with Sainsbury’s Argos and the Global Shipping Programme, offering a simple route to global exports for sellers of all sizes.
Mike has previously worked in various leadership, development and consulting roles in Waitrose, Gist and Javelin Group, all in delivery and fulfilment and for the past 10 years wholly in ecommerce. 


 

Gayle Emsley-Daniels

Global Carrier Manager | Ted Baker

Gayle joined Ted Baker as Global Carrier Manager in 2017 with responsibility for the strategy and management of all outbound carriage lanes globally. 
The Ted Baker brand has grown steadily since it began in 1988. Starting life in Glasgow as a single shirt specialist store to becoming the global multichannel lifestyle brand that it is today. 
With 15 years of experience of carriage management spanning mail order at Scotts & Co, project management at  Royal Mail and 3 years at Superdry where she helped the business set and deliver the strategy for multi carrier, multi DC solutions globally.


 

Lana Jackson

Head of Supply Chain & Ecom Operations | New Look

Having started her ecommerce career working in Supply Chain for Ocado in 2001, Lana has over 15 years’ ecommerce experience working in various Supply Chain and Logistics roles for brands such as Amazon, Red Bull and Ralph Lauren.
For the last 5 years she has headed up the Customer Proposition & Delivery Team at New Look where she has transformed the delivery proposition for customers, providing greater choice and convenience through the introduction of Sunday deliveries, Evening deliveries, DPD Precise and most recently the New Look Delivery Pass.    

 


 

Mark Robinson

Director, Customer Contact and Fulfilment Operations | John Lewis

Mark is the Director of Customer Contact & Fulfilment Operations for John Lewis and leads the Contact Centre functions supporting sales and service for John Lewis as well as the Customer Delivery functions including the ‘2 Man’ Home Services & Delivery networks providing delivery and technical services across the UK, the Direct to Customer Fulfilment channels and the Carrier Home Delivery and Click & Collect functions.
Mark has spent over 20 years leading a variety of Operations, Customer Service and Supply Chain functions across a number of manufacturing, wholesale and retail businesses, the last 12 of which have been with the John Lewis Partnership.

 


 

Paul Anastasiou

Senior Director | Asda Logistics Services

Paul joined Asda in 2006 and has held a variety of senior leadership roles across logistics in operations, strategy and operating model development. In his current role as Senior Director for Parcel Services in Asda, Paul runs toyou Asda’s third party parcel pick-up and drop-off service , which launched in late 2015 using Asda’s logistics and retail estate connected on a next generation technology platform,  the service has over 100 of the UK’s leading online retail brands live.


 

Guy Meisl

Supply Chain Director | Deckers

Guy is a talented and ambitious logistics leader with extensive European experience and languages. He’s a strategic thinker, able to work holistically across a business and understand the impact of supply chain and distribution at a local level. Self-motivated with excellent negotiating and influencing skills, Guy consistently sees contracts, tenders, and change management projects through to their successful conclusions.


 

Steve Calvert

VP Director of Logistics | TJX

With a healthy background in risk operations and retail management, Steve brings an instinctive, unique perspective to TJX. Heading up TJX’s team responsible for Logistics, eCommerce fulfilment, central functions, and the development of long-term strategy, Steve is ideally situated to be a valuable member of the IMRG Delivery Advisory Board. Steve cares deeply about aiding the development of others, and always looks for opportunities to stretch people. He is also an active contributor to several charity partnerships.


 

Caroline James

Head of Logistics | Feelunique

Caroline joined Feelunique in 2016, as Head of Logistics, responsible for all elements of Supply Chain and Operations. Feelunique is a leading online retailer of premium beauty products. Working within a highly competitive marketplace, Caroline is keen to drive operational excellence and innovation to ensure customer  experience is enhanced. Since beginning her logistics career as a graduate with Gist, Caroline has worked in a variety roles of within ecommerce and retail distribution, including several large scale automation start-ups, spending the previous ten years with John Lewis.


 

Karl Harwood

Head of Distribution Operations | Missguided

Karl joined Missguided in 2015 following positions at Limitless Digital, MetaPack, eBay Enterprise and Securicor / DHL Express. At Missguided Karl is responsible for movement of inbound / outbound freight along with the worldwide consumer delivery and returns proposition. As an experienced global distribution manager, Karl harnesses extensive knowledge of shipping product across varied product verticals utilising a combination of transportation modes from a unique background of carrier, IT, 3PL and latterly retailer perspectives.


 

Mark Robson

Director of Global Supply Chain & Business Planning | Boden

Mark joined Boden in September 2018 accountable for their global supply chain, ensuring their warehousing and fulfilment planning is efficient and effective.  Using his background in wider commercial roles he will be looking to develop the integration of Operations within the business strategic planning.  The company continues to grow within its existing channels of online and catalogue, but it is also developing new channels within wholesale, marketplaces and retail stores.  Prior to joining Boden Mark has worked for a number of retailers, most recently spending 12 years with Monsoon Accessorize in a number of senior leadership roles across Business Planning, Strategy, Business Development and Retail Franchise.


 

Adam Hall

Head of Sustainability | Internet Fusion Group

Adam Hall is the Head of Sustainability at Internet Fusion and Surfdome, Europe's largest action sport retailer. He grew up in the rolling hills and gentle surf of the South West of the UK, which shaped his passion for surfing and an appreciation of the natural world, all enhanced by a lifetime of travelling.

Adam is now relishing combining both his passions as head of sustainability within the surfing industry and is currently in the process of 'greening' the company, with a key focus on single-use plastic. He is eliminating plastic from the business's operation: to date, the equivalent of more than 2 million plastic bottles has been removed and is rising internally.
