Ann Steer

Chief Customer Officer | JD Williams

Ann first got a taste for Marketing as a student job in Market research, interviewing the public on any topic from toothpaste to biscuits on streets and shopping centres all around the Midlands.

Her career started at GUS (now Shop Direct) as a graduate, where she progressed to New Business Development Manager working on launching a series of new catalogues including the Disney catalogue. This gave her the opportunity to work across functions and understand the operations of a Home Shopping business. Moving to Littlewoods (also now Shop Direct), Ann was part of the team to launch the first Littlewoods website. Ann went on to Head up Ecommerce for Littlewoods before moving to head up Marketing for the Direct business.

Ann joined NBrown Group as Head of Ecommerce and grew the team from 25 to over 100 and sales to over 50% of the business. Again moving into lead Marketing team for younger brands before being promoted to the operating board in 2014.


 

Mike Durbridge

CEO | Andrew Martin International

Mike Durbridge is the CEO of Andrew Martin International, an interior design specialist offering a wide range of fabrics, wallpapers, furniture and home accessories for tastemakers in search of individual interiors with a twist. Prior to leading Andrew Martin International, Mike held senior positions at Kingfisher and B&Q. Mike also spent four years leading the Retail, Online and Contact Centre channels at Vodafone UK, creating the first multichannel operation for Vodafone globally.

Mike has had a variety of marketing, sales, commercial and operational leadership roles in telecom, financial services and mail order businesses over the course of his 20 year career and is a strong believer that the key to commercial success for modern retailing is to ensure that customers, enabled by choice, simplicity and consistency, are placed at the heart of any business.


 

Mark Steel

Digital Director | Argos

A highly focused and driven Digital Director with exceptional leadership, influencing and communication skills. Proven track record of development and delivery of digital strategy within the UK’s largest multi-channel retailer.
Breadth of experience and expertise developed across a range of disciplines including Digital & Ecommerce, Marketing, Commercial and Retail & Operations.
Accomplished public speaker and passionate about sharing ideas, suggestions and progress in the digital retail world.

Stephen Langford

Vice President, Commercial | ASDA

Stephen is George @ Asda's Senior Director for Online, Strategy & Business Transformation. Since Joining George in 2011, he has led the transformation of their Digital Channel into a significant player in Online clothing and General Merchandise retailing.

Prior to his 6 years at Asda, Stephen has covered a number of digital and new business positions across both Marks & Spencer, and Tesco.


 

Andy Gault

Ecommerce Director | Howdens Joinery Co

Andy has over 20 years’ experience across core areas of retail - having worked in the disciplines of store management, supply chain, buying, strategy, international and latterly eCommerce.

This experience has been gained at leading retailers within their fields such as Wyevale the garden centre chain, Screwfix a multi-channel trade leader and B&Q the leading home improvement retailer.


 

David Williams

Senior Director, DTC, EMEA and Japan | Deckers

Direct responsibility for all aspects of the digital customer experience and driving sales digitally through all channels - eCommerce, Retail and Wholesale. Responsible for the EMEA E-Commerce business unit P&L.

Providing strategy and direction for developing and implementing omni-channel initiatives, striving to create seamless cross-channel experiences for consumers within EMEA utilising CRM tools and digital products.


 

Jim Buckle

Chief Operating Officer | Feelunique.com

Jim joined Feelunique as COO in May 2014, bringing over 25 years’ experience in consumer and online businesses. Feelunique is a leading online retailer of premium beauty products and Jim is responsible for customer experience, marketing, operations, technology and finance.

Jim began his career at KPMG, followed by senior finance roles at the BBC and Dell Computers.

Since 2001, he has held leadership roles in earlier stage businesses with two successful exits; selling Propertyfinder.com to News International in 2005 and movie subscription service, LOVEFiLM to Amazon in 2011.

Prior to joining Feelunique, Jim was CFO of Wiggle, the online retailer of cycling and tri-sports products.


 

Madeleine Melson

Chief Customer Officer | Amara

Joining Amara as Chief Customer Officer in 2017, Madeleine Melson is embarking on a journey to take Amara to the next stage of growth. Responsible for all elements of the customer experience, Maddie will develop the business from the robust foundations this customer-centric team have built, both in the UK and internationally.

Maddie has over a decade of online retail experience covering premium, pure-play and multi-channel retailers, including House of Fraser, John Lewis, Figleaves and Browns Fashion.


 

Mark Wright

Multi-Channel Managing Director | Jack Wills

Mark Wright has been the Managing Director for Multichannel at Jack Wills for over 2 years where he’s responsible for Global Ecommerce as well as CRM and Customer Services. In this time Mark has re-platformed the website, re-structured his team and introduced agile working to web development putting the customer and data at the heart of decision-making.

His previous experience includes a wide range of roles in retail including Head of UK Trading for M&S.com, Store Operations and field positions as both Store and Regional Manager.


 

Alex Murray

eCommerce Director | Lidl

Alex has over 16 years e-commerce experience, beginning his career at UK fine wine merchant Berry Bros. & Rudd, driving online innovation and winning the International Wine Challenge 'Website of the Year' award 5 years in a row.

In 2006, he moved to the videogames retailer, the GAME Group, leading the online trading and customer experience teams. Then, in 2009, Alex moved to Waitrose, initially to head up the Waitrose Wine Direct business, but soon assumed additional responsibility for the online grocery trading team.

From 2012, he has been primarily focused on digital strategy and developing the omnichannel proposition. He joined Lidl in March 2016. He is married with 3 children, 2 cats and not enough wine.


 

Nadine Neatrour

Ecommerce Director | Revolution Beauty

Nadine has over 16 years experience across a number of blue chip retailers, including Hobbs London, Moet Hennessy, Thomas Pink and SpaceNK. She has recently taken up the post of Ecommerce Director at rapidly growing Revolution Beauty, who are disrupting the beauty space by bringing the concept of “fast beauty” to life through continuous new product development and obsessing about customers. Specialities include Ecommerce, CRM, Marketing, Content, Merchandising, Technology, Internationalisation and Social Commerce.

 


 

Brian Farrelly

VP Commerce | QVC Channel

Brian joined QVC in 2000 as the Director of Media Operations.

Now Vice President of Commerce Platforms UK and Global Content, Brian overseas QVCUK.com, the broadcast channels (Live and Non Live), mobile apps, social media, digital marketing and the customer marketing team. As part of his global role, he is responsible for new content systems and providing oversight for QVC content teams in all markets.

Brian was previously Head of Production at ITV, and has over thirty years of experience in television, nearly as long as the medium itself. He has an MBA from Warwick University.

Married to Siobhan, and with two children and an excitable Labrador, Brian is a keen cyclist and sports fan.


 

Sean McKee

Head of eCommerce & Customer Services | Schuh

Sean McKee is an experienced retailer who progressed through a range of retail roles including store, regional and divisional management at Schuh, before getting into eCommerce in 2010.

A long-time advocate of integrating bricks and clicks in the pursuit of an optimum retail experience, in his current role he has, among other things, delivered on mobile growth and a simple, cross-channel proposition. He is passionate about delivering choice and convenience to an increasingly sophisticated, demanding and tech-enabled customer.

A regular contributor at eCommerce events in the UK and elsewhere, his current interests include CRO, use of content, developments in voice and visual search, AI and the start-up ecosystem.


 

Sue Harries

Director of eCommerce | Screwfix

Sue is the Director of Ecommerce at Screwfix and has nearly 20 years experience in retail gained across multiple disciplines. She started her career as a qualified accountant and has held senior roles at Peacocks, AXA & Screwfix.

She’s been with Screwfix for the last 11 years and leads the Ecommerce team for the UK & European sites. She has combined her analytical skills with digital, and takes a data driven approach to decision making.

Screwfix is one of the UK’s leading omnichannel retailers with over 500 stores in the UK & Germany and over £1bn sales.


 

Jonathan Wall

Chief Digital Officer | Missguided

Jonathan joined Missguided in September 2017 as Chief Digital Officer. 

He was previously Group Ecommerce Director at the UKs second largest pureplay online retailer Shop Direct. During his time at Shop Direct his award-winning team drove new visitors to Shop Direct’s sites, optimises its online presence, and improves conversion rates and visitor journeys – all with a focus on mobile. Jonathan was named best digital leader at the Drapers Digital Awards 2016.


 

Lee Faetz

Director of Ecommerce | Evans Cycles

Lee joined Evans Cycles in early 2018 as Director Of Ecommerce.

He was previously Ecommerce Director for Wickes, a division of the Travis Perkins Group, with responsibility for all facets of their online business. During his time at Wickes he drove the transformation of their multichannel strategy delivering significant change and sales growth.
Prior to this Lee was Global Head of Ecommerce at FitFlop, leading their Global Digital Strategy. Before this, Lee spent 15 years in various Retail and Ecommerce roles at Schuh, latterly leading their online charge and driving significant technology change and revenue growth.


 

Catherine Hall

Ecommerce Director | TJX Europe

Since January 2014, Catherine Hall has been the eCommerce Director for TJX Europe, the leading off-price retailer of fashion and homeware worldwide. Some of the European brands Catherine overlooks are TK Maxx and Home Sense.

Before joining the team at the TJX Europe, Catherine previously held executive eCommerce roles at other global retailer brands such as Jaeger and Agent Provocateur.


 

Neil Sansom

Founder & CEO | E-sation

Leading multichannel, Ecommerce and marketing professional at senior leadership level across numerous verticals. Previously CEO for WoolOvers, Omnichannel Director for Moss Bros, Marketing and Ecommerce Director for M & M Direct, Ecommerce Director for Otto Group and Shop Direct.

Named in the top 50 Ecommerce professionals, 2016 movers and shakers and winner of numerous Ecommerce and marketing awards including Drapers overall gold award.


 

Paul Hornby

Director of eCommerce | Matalan

Responsible for driving Matalan's online presence and internal capability, with full ownership of the eCommerce P&L. Focused on driving innovation and adopting new technologies that will give Matalan a competitive advantage within our sector, whilst also encouraging cultural change where required.

Act as the key figurehead for the Matalan Multi-Channel Business, driving Board-level engagement for all future digital strategies as well as ensuring commitment across the whole Business - particularly the retail stores - around the strategic importance of our Omni-Channel strategies.
