About

Mention Me is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) tech platform that allows retail marketers to create custom branded refer-a-friend programmes, which can be segmented and AB tested. This enables optimisation over time, and the ability to plan and execute promotions designed to secure the maximum number of new customers. Our business model is performance based, with retailers paying us a percentage of each newly introduced customer’s order. This limits their risk and we grow by delivering as many new customers as possible. We have expanded from a team of 4 in 2015 to 30 today, and now power refer-a-friend or member-get-member programmes for over 200 brands including some of the most well known and fastest growing retailers in the UK, Europe and the US. Brands include Bloom & Wild, Farfetch, OVO Energy, Radley, Oliver Sweeney and Emma Bridgewater. Mention Me referrals deliver over £750k in new customer revenue to our clients every single week. As a small business we have recently received industry recognition winning Best Tech Startup in Drapers Digital Festival 2017, Finalist in Retail Week’s Tech Awards 2017 and Finalist in The Drum’s Marketing Awards 2017. Prior to launching Mention Me, the founders Andy Cockburn (CEO) and Tim Boughton (CTO) had extensive experience delivering rapid growth at a number of successful businesses. We have continued to nurture and grow our innovative culture, encouraging each other to be bold and test things; be that new AB experiments, new product features or even personal team passions through our hackathons and charity projects.
