Marks & Spencer Chooses Demandware for International Websites

London. – June 19, 2012 – Demandware®, Inc. (NYSE: DWRE), a leader in on-demand ecommerce, today announced that Marks & Spencer, one of the UK’s leading retailers, is using the Demandware Commerce platform to power its new international websites, including its recently launched Ireland website, www.marksandspencer.ie. This follows Marks & Spencer’s first international website, www.marksandspencer.fr, serving customers across France since October 2011.

Marks & Spencer selected Demandware because its scalable cloud-based platform enables fast time-to-market and is backed by a secure, world-class operating environment. With Demandware Commerce, Marks & Spencer now has a central platform for developing and managing its two international e-commerce sites, which allows customers to shop an extensive range of products in their local currency, with local delivery prices and in the case of its French website, in their local language.
