The LiquidShop Successful ecommerce Award launches for 2012

Sitemakers, the developers of the LiquidShop ecommerce platform, announce the launch of the 2012 LiquidShop Successful ecommerce award.

London,21th March - The LiquidShop Successful Ecommerce Award seeks to encourage the development of independent ecommerce enterprises and to highlight the increasing importance of ecommerce for all retail businesses in the UK. There are many Awards that recognise and reward businesses that have already achieved success. In contrast, this annual Award is designed to provide practical help for a business that is either at or near the beginning of its online retail life. The winner of the Award needs to demonstrate that they have a sound business plan and the motivation and energy to be successful; in return they receive considerable practical assistance and support from all of the participating sponsors to help them develop and grow their ecommerce business.

The Award is more than just a plaque to hang on the wall; the winner receives substantial practical and financial assistance for a full 12 months to help them establish their business. This includes the LiquidShop ecommerce platform, website design, hosting and ongoing support from Sitemakers for 12 months. PayPal Express card payment services for 12 months. Postcode Anywhere UK and international address validation and store finder for 12 months. Full IMRG retailer membership - this includes ISIS & IDIS accreditation, access to secure content and reports on the IMRG website and free invitations to all IMRG seminars for 12 months. The combined value of the Award is in excess of £20,000.

Applications are sought from new and existing retail businesses, judged drawn from the sponsoring companies. The winner will launch their new website in October, to begin trading straight away.
